i have bought a 91 dodge stealth base model, it does not say es on the back. but it has the dohc motor, does this mean somone did a motor swap or did the base come with the dohc motor. anyways back to my question, the car has 122,00 miles on it, is that alot or no. and what should i do to the car for a tune up.please help me i love this car.

Hey, welcome to AF, I suggest you read the FAQ, as it has alot of great info for new owners.
It includes a section about the big tune-ups (60k and 120k) and everything that should be checked or replaced.

As far as the motor swap...all the Stealth bases were SOHC, so if yours truly is a DOHC, then either there was a motor swap done, or you actually got an ES or RT. Are you sure you didn't get an ES? Typically, base models have cloth seats, 15" wheels, and such.

maybe they debaged it....is the paint new?

it has 16 inch wheels, and a dohc motor but it does not say es or rt on it, i have a few pictures maybe you guys could look at it and tell me.

yea, you really wont be able to distinguish b/t an ES and base outside of the motor. Odds are it is an ES. R/T's have dual exhaust instead of single exhaust, and tey have luxury items such as ECS and leather seats, sunroof, etc. But obviously, the SOHC cars had the 6,000 rpm redline vs. the 7,000 rpm redlines in the DOHC cars.

Yeah someone probably took the ES off of it...I took the SL off of my SL, and when I get my VR4 i'll take that badge off of it as well. I like letting people think the car is less than it is, so if they want to race they're in way over their heads!

yeah when i got my car repainted i took off the emblems saying 3000gt vr4 and the diamond star on front. then i replaced the back lighting from where it said mitsubichi so it would say gto. that away it would confuse people.
