ugh... speech writing

Before I go to bed tonight I have to write a speech for english class tomorrow that I was supposed to give today. It has to be 5-7 minutes long about this book I read about some guy that started a cereal company. Talk about boring. Wow I need some motivation here...

yeah, so I finished writing the speech, I hope its long enough 'cause I sure as hell ain't proofin' it... Anyways, we'll see how this goes. I'm usually pretty good with speeches. Last year I had to do an impromptu about why the guy that wrote 'ice ice baby' should make a comeback. :screwy:

Mention something about the 4th of July being not just the independence day for the united states of america, but a day of celebration for the entire human race. always goes down well in movies

I'm guessing it's an informative speech or something like that? Just give a synopsis of the entire book touching on the key points of it. That should be more than enough for 5 to 7 minutes. I gave a speech for my public speaking class on Monday that had to be 3 minutes long on myself, I was speaking on my writing how I can apply it to my life and ended up going over 3 minutes. Just so long as you're not afraid of speaking in front of people you should be fine.
