I have a 96 integra and my abs system makes a buzzing sound about every 30 seconds. After about 10 min. of driving the abs check light will come on. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? If you can help me out I would really appreciate it. THX.

If you or a friend has a 16pin data tool you can scan the abs module for the error code. If you get the error code me or someone else could tell you what it means.

alright I'll look into that... where can I find a 16pin data tool or someone that might have one? sorry I'm very ignorant when it comes to the abs system.

I'm not sure that yours has a 16pin connector.. i'm just assuming my accord isn't too far different from your integra. Get a haynes manual down at auto zone or some place like that for 15 bucks.. saves you alot of questions and problems later on. Newho if it is 16pin heres a site.
This is for an OBD-II
one (http://www.toolsource.com/ost/product.asp?sourceid=NO+SOURCE&dept%5Fid=500&pf%5Fid=95669&mscssid=GQNCLRAAE4W09H0L3VNVN49JLFF7DH8F), two (http://www.toolsource.com/ost/product.asp?sourceid=NO+SOURCE&dept%5Fid=500&pf%5Fid=92830&mscssid=GQNCLRAAE4W09H0L3VNVN49JLFF7DH8F)
I'm not positive this is what you need though, maybe someone else here can confirm that one of these will work.

You don't need a scan tool to pull the codes. Go to the passenger side kick panel where the ecu is located. There will be a service connector with a green rubber cover; sometimes it is shoved up under the glove box. Remove the service connector from the cover, take a wire and bridge the two terminals of the connector together. Turn the ignition to the on position but don't start the car. The abs light will blink out any stored codes. There will be a two second pause then the light will blink out the main code, then there will be a one second pause followed by a sequence of blinks representing the sub-code. If there is more than one trouble code there will be a five second pause followed by the next main and sub-code. Count out the blinks in all the main and sub-codes and post them in this thread and I will tell you what they mean. I hope you didn't listen to Tencent and waste your money on a scan tool.
