Front bumper

97 eclispe spyder.

Well my front bumper is like in really bad shape. So instead of gettin it repaired Its just as cheap to get a new bumper. I thought it might be intresting to get a aftermarket front, but the thing is im not gettin the full body kit, just the front bumper. So im looking for soemthing tht flows with the rest of the car and isnt huge(for ex. the blitz bumper awlays looks huge). So anyone have any ideas?

rev2 is a bumper that looks mostly like stock 97 bumper with a bigger center opening and stuff. it should go good with stock sides and back

Ive decided to go with the buddy club 2 front

the r33 is about the only aftermarket front bumper i would ever consider. For me, my front end kit is gonna consist of changing it to a 97-99 bumper. Have yet to find any bumper that looks as good and clean to me. But thats my taste. Most import is to get what your hapy with, cause after all its your car. The buddy club 2 isnt a bad choice. I have seen much worse bumpers! peace

I would go with the stillen front bumper. I love how my stillen front end just blends in with the rest of the car. It also kinda looks stock. The stillen also blends in with the stock side skirts too. I almost went with the buddy club 2, but i didnt know how low it sat.

yeah i got the buddy club for a cheap price, the stillen was about 200more, plus who knos about shipping they were offering just couldnt handle tht. The buddy club2 is very smooth and stock like as well

Is there a poly-urethane version of that stillen front? I've decided to not get the full blitz kit to save myself about $2000 between the kit and install. But I still might like to get just a front put on.

stillen all the way baby. that stillen front looks awesome, and like others have said, it blends in with the rest of the car.

Oh yeah another thing, the stillen front ends make the car look like its really pissed off!!! Which i like.

But its true that the stillen bumpers are really pricy, but the quality is great! So i would think its pritty hard to find a cheap stillen unless its used.

well, i know for a fact that 2G stock front and rear bumpers are very flexible...i got hit by an F150 in a prking lot. it sounded like my bumper had been ripped off, it was so damn loud, but when i checked it out, not even a scratch. my question is, are stillen bumpers just as "bouncy""?

Damn your lucky, i was hit and my bumper just cracked in half. I don't want to find out if my stillen bumper is "bouncy" enough. lol

lol it should be, a family friend drove my car one day, and when he went to park he went to far up over the park stop brick. And I guess their was a slight piece tht was hanging from a previous account and it ripped it toooooo hell. Thts one I needed the new bumper, whcih hasnt come in yet

I got mine directly from stillen.com. I was hit by a Dodge Neon that ran a stop sign so thats how I got it. I just had to pay for the difference ($150) to the body shop and they dealed with the shipping. They said the shipping killed them. I love the front bumper but if I were to be hit again I would probably go back to the stock bumper.

the r33 doesnt look like it come all the way up to the hood, looks like there is an inch of gap

theyre coming out with new kits for our 2Gs. Ive been surfing ebay and have seen some stuff that didnt exist before. one kit is hsipped from Germany, would you beleive.

Yeah I'm also seeing that big gap on the r33.. which is a shame because that was the front bumper I was planning when I get my eclipse.
