I am planning on putting a supercharger on my 93 prelude SI (h23a motore) but I don't know what parts I am going to have to change or even what are good name brands for these parts. Could anyone tell me the brand and parts I would have to change in order to run a supercharger with about 10 psi into the h23a motor???

get a turbo. that is the best advice to give u. and if u want to run that much boost i hope u plan to spend at least around $5000-$7000

Unfortunately theres is no Supercharger for a 4th gen w/h23. The JRSC from the 5th gen w/h22 fits a 4th gen w/h22 with modification; so unless the h22 supercharger bolts right onto the h23, you're in for a double modification.

Even if I do the modifications needed what is a good supercharger to get and what other things will I need to change in my motor so that it won't blow? with only 8 psi.

as far as i know, the JRSC is the only option you have.

i was lookin into getting a s/c for my 4th gen, wouldnt be worth it. the modifications are made to the firewall. dont know how much it would cost to make room for it but i know it wont be cheap. strengthen your internals an go turbo.
to your question, Jackson Racing makes one and the modification you'd hav to do for it to work right would probaly be a h22 swap an the firewall modifications and strengthened internals of course.

If I do go with a turbo what internals should I change and what are good name brands for these parts?? Who makes good turbos as well??

Sleeves and low comp pistons would probably the main things.

What name brand pistons should I go with and what compression ratio to get the most performance out of the h23a motor???

id use JE pistons and go with either 9.5:1 or 9:1.

JE pistons and Darton sleeves would be my prime choice.

Aceshigh could you tell me how much it costs to put that jrsc on your car and how much work it was for you? How much boost can you run out of it and what else did you have to do to the motor so that is doesnt blow?? please reply to all of these questions, thanks.

I'm pretty sure that's not AcesHigh car, just a picture he had. As for the boost question, I know it's possible to up the psi to 9 by swapping out a pulley, but I think you'd require building your motor first. And if you build your motor you might as well go turbo.

def go with that compression ration 9:1 is good and dont supercharge it put a turbo if anything is it vtech do u have any mods or u u just putting a turbo on if u are thats dumb build it up 1st make it vtech h23 arent even vtech i thought could be wrong tho

it is not vtech but i want to build the motor up so that i can run forced induction into it. Y should i go turbo over supercharger?

Does anyone know the difference between obx headers and any othe types of headers that are just cheaper but made out of the same material???????/

Y not go with a supercharger???

Supercharged horsepower is much better than turbocharged horsepower. Unless you plan to be an all out straightline whore (which its okay to be but this is not the platform to do it in), you need power throughout the entire band and not a limp car with a burst of speed at the end.
Unfortunately, unless you have the expertise to dink around with the supercharger to get it to fit, you are probably better off with the turbo.
Oh, and never buy OBX.. anything.

What modifications would I have to do if I would put that supercharger on my car???

more than it's worth really. you have to make room back there for the blower and the belt assembly. i forget the exact parts you need to replace but steering pump, fuel rail, as well as either cutting or bending the firewall to make room on 4th gens.
turbos and supercharges both have their advantages and disadvantages. choose your poison wisely. :D. i've had both and i like and dislike bits and pieces of either. the instant power you get with the supercharger is very nice. plus there's less maintenance involved. i loved that part of it. but the flexibility and potential of a turbo has its own appeal.
