2000 740 nav computer

I have been told that I need a new nav computer by my local trusted dealer and I need some help. I want to find a used one and have seen many on used parts web sites and e-bay. I need to know what years and models may be compatible for my car. the part number on my nav computer is 65906908311. Thanks for any help.
