removal of oil pan

i have a 95 taurus wagon. attempting to remove oilpan to replace leaking gasket. can't get it off. i tried removing the forward exhaust, still not enough roon to get the pan off...what next????

I think you have to drop the subframe and support the engine with a hoist....
