I found a kit that i customized and this is what it comes with. This turbo kit includes a turbo header, a wastegate (either internal or external), a turbo, and an intercooler. All this for like $1500. is this a good deal or am i getting ripped off b/c i still need other parts that I would have to buy seperatly. all feedback is appreciated.

I'm no turbo expert, but I'm pretty sure no. You'll need a BOV, an intake or just the filter, some sort of engine management, possibly injectors (prolly not for low boost), and piping if it's not included, and just various tubes and such. Other people have more knowledge than me though.

the kit i looked at buying included an exteernal bov (35mm) and the piping for the exhaust system i.e. downpipe and a custom 3" exhaust system was going to be bought seperatly. I mean was there any thing major that i have not included that i would for sure need. To start off im goin to run around 5-7 psi of boost. I was goin to get a gauge pod for the side part of my window, and a computer system setup for managment. but that is for a different forum.

That is a external wastegate, not bov. The bov goes on the intake piping after your intercooler but before your throttle body. Youll need to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, an fmu and all the piping and connections for the intake. You will also want to retard your timing from -3 to -5 degrees. I also suggest purchasing a VAFC that way you can tune when your vtec engages and how long the injectors stay open so you dont run too lean. Its always better to run to rich then lean and tune from there.

You don't necessarily need a bypass valve altogether..
You will need mundane things like oil lines, and as mentioned above, you will need to do something to the fuel system.

not needed, but HIGHLY recommended is a Turbo timer, otherwise u shorten the life of your turbo a lot.
