i have a 95 civic hatchback dx, and i bought a sunpro tachometer. I got all the wires hooked up except the green one. I know silver2kcivic or what ever covered this but it dont make sense because i cannot find the right wire, the blue one, there are so many blue ones to choose from. Can anyone help me out i want to get this thing working already.

In my 92 Civic DX, there is a blue/white wire located in the engine compartment, driver's side by the brake master cylinder. I have an aftermarket auto start and aftermarket cruise control that I have hooked up to it. I ran the wires through the firewall using an existing grommet.

its a whole lot easier to just run the wire through the firewall and splice it off of this wire. sometimes i really wonder if people bother searching before starting a new thread, cause this is another one thats brought up at least once a month. its the all blue/smaller wire in the two wire harness, which is under the larger harness, next to the distributor by the vtec solenoid http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/197930Image007-med.jpg

Why run wires through the firewall when there is no reason to? Thats senseless!
Here's the correct way -http://www.westworld.com/~joe_r/tach/tachinst.html
Yes this is for an '89 but Civic's are Civic's, unless it's a 2001 or newer.
