Door Frozen Open

Anyone have a similar problem on their late 90's Corolla/Prizm? If so how did you fix it?

Anytime the temp. gets below freezing the drivers side door refuses to latch shut until I spour a pot of coffee over the latch.

A little inconvenient to get in your car from the passenger side. I've tried to take off the interior panel to lube the rods but didn't get far in panel removal. Any tricks?

i only had it happen once...i just drove home on side streets and put it in the garage that night and it was fine. i would guess that if you greased the hinge it should work, but hot water will work until it gets warmer and more convenient to fix.
