I just got a ram air hood and i was wondering what some of you paid for to get a ram air painted.

Also if anyof you got a body kit and got that painted as well let me know how much that was too

Hood is roughly around $400 to get it painted, ofcourse this is a pretty low number and price really depends on the quality of work done. Ground effects and hood could run anywere from $600-1000, Again quality of shop and work done is biggest factor.

Try a Fact-O-Bake if you have on of those near you. Or even Maaco. My friend just got his monte carlo painted from white to black and got some dings out of his car all for only $350 from Fact-O-Bake. yeah it sounds cheap, but man did they do a good job on it, it looks beautiful.

Get the hood blended in with the fenders and get the front nose painted while you're at it. It will make the car look brand new.

See for yourself the car pictured below is 7 years old. I had it blended for $650. The front was coated twice and in some places three times. Don't cheap out you will be dissapointed in the end.
