question about s15

well ive been looking at specs and pics of s15's ... theyre some pretty nice cars, but will they make it to the US market soon ? unless i am just really unnotified and they are currently available in the US ... the maxima and sentra are some good cars but not quite a s15, ive seen a few 240sx's and 200sx's around but no s15

s15 chassie will never make it over here b/c its was only sold in japan and probably european countries, its discontinued now just like the skyline,it was never sold in the u.s. the s14 chassie was sold here in the form of the 96-98 240sx.

the s15 has never been and will never be legal in north america. if you've seen one then its probably a shop car. shops are the only places you'll see them cause its legal for shops to have just about anything as long as its registered to the company

did u just compare the s15 to a sentra and a maxima? that is the most absurd thing ive heard in a while

well just like the z31 and z32, the s-chassis are divided into generations.. the s13 is 89-94, s14 is 95-98 and s15 99-02 (i think thats as far as they went..) so the s15 couldn't possibly have come out in 93... and the s15 has NOTHING to do with an altima. the altima is a completely different car.. there isn't even a us s15.. the s13/14/15 silvias were in japan. the 240sx are in north america.. we just call them s13/14/15 to differentiate between generations (s13 had popup lights and came in hatch or coupe, s14 doesn't have popups but looks more modern and the s15 is also different..)
