Recently while driving CEL suddenly poped up, later on I got my CEL checked, the code says something about cylinder 1 misfiring. I don't know what can cause this. Does anyone know a solution for this? [heh I know this is a really bad thing] What can I do?
Only thing I can think of is that recently I drove the car for about a week with no airfilter. But that shouldn't cause ignition problems ? Some input needed.

clean your throttle body and intake. a misfire code can be caused by a lot of things. since you drove without a air filter my guess would be that you just need to clean your intake and upper engine.

Change your oil. Going with out an airfilter can make your oil dirty.

going without a filter could... FUCK UR CAR UP!!! my cirrus sucks air right up from the ground level under the grill and is rammed up inside :) if i dident have a filter I WOULD BE SCREWED HARDCORE! so my recomendation would be to realy get that engine looked at

Thanks I'll check plugs/wires.... and will change the oil.. if that still doesn't solve the problem I'll go from there.
Edit: Also do you guys think it could the be the injectors or distributor?
