I have a 95 Caravan 3.8. Trans was working perfectly and suddenly it will not go in reverse. All forward gears are still working normally. I cannot find any other posts with these symptoms. It make no noise to indicate that it is doing anything when shifted into reverse.
Any ideas? Could it be the solenoid pack? Should I try changing fluid and filter and "wiggling" all connections to the trans?
any help is greatly appreciated.

new tranny fluid never hurts; do you have any check engine lights on? Any abnormal sounds, vibrations, etc.?

No check engine light or sound. Driving forward seems perfectly normal.

Nobody else have any ideas? I hate to bring it into the shop for something I can check/fix myself?

Did you try changing the fluid?

not yet. Do you think fluid alone could cause it? I was going to try changing the solenoid pack at the same time.

Well, fluid could fix it, and if it does, you'll save the money for a new solenoid pack. On a '95, make sure when you flush and change the fluid, you use only Mopar ATF+3.
