Ok there is one with aluminum insides at www.radiator.com for like $170 and i also found one at a local shop for the same price so thats all cool. I found one that was all aluminum and not have plastic sides but it is $700

Chances are if you have the newer body, you already had a aluminum rad.

Just an idea, but if you want to save a buck, I have seen good radiators in the junkyard for 35 bucks with a guarantee that it won't leak for 90 days. Around here it doesn't take much to total a Cavalier so there's lots of good pickins. Look closely at the outside of the unit for corrosion as road salt will eat the radiator from the outside-in.

You'll already have ally. If you want to mod you car big time then go with a full ally unit from say fluidyne! If you buy a cheapy ally unit with the plastic sides, beware some have a tendency to seperate! That's more money wasted. You sound scared off by the $700 and that's for a PROPER racing rad. You probably wont need that/. Just a good one and if you do mod it you can always get a lower temp fan switch do that comes on sooner! Also full ally racing units are usually larger and need some fernangling to get in right!
