anti theft???

got a dumb question. i just noticed today that my 89 rs has stickers on both windows that say something like "vehicle has anti-theft system". however they are both faded to where it is VERY hard to make out what it says, it looks like a clear sticker at first glance. i actually peeled one off (before i discovered it said something) because it was already coming loose. wondering what kind it could be, if it could be true, and how i could prove it for insurance reasons.

It's called VATS, vehicle anti-theft system,have you noticed your key has a little pellet on it.

yes do u know if insurance companies would give a reduction for this, or do they want a full alarm system?

hey speaking of the VATS, ok mine has that and sometimes it lights up when it gets cold so i dont know if it works, but my key does not have that little chip thing, so does it matter that i have the VATS if the original key doesnt even come with one of thos chips?
