2 military Humvees

I saw them on a flatbed in a parking lot. Sadly i left the camera at home.

what kind were they? were they the sloped back, or the square boxes. I remember the first time I sat down in one, and got ready to drive it. It was a blast.

I see those everytime I go up to Rockford, I still get all excited when I see them!!!

Every now and then a train full of a hundered or so flatbed cars with 2 trucks on each car will go through town during rushhour. Its very helpful.


on a side note, a coast gaurd rescue chopper just buzzed my house at 200 feet and I live an hour and a half from the beach. weird.

Yeah convoys of military Humvees and other various trucks go through my town all the time. My best military sighting though was an Apache helicopter that flew right over my house, that was one of the most awesome things I've ever seen. I see tons of other helicopters and sometimes jets flying over, guess they have a normal traffic path near me. I always enjoy running out of my house when I hear the rumble of them, not knowing what it will be.

the only time i've seen a military hummer was when the marine corps did a show near my house. the best military flyby was when the two F-16's flew over my house on the way to do the fly over for a Browns game a few years back...that was sweet as hell.

wait till you get to see F16's doing flybys and you you know its actually because of a security issue... :uhoh:

I wish the aussie government would get some of these

its one of them square boxes. In my place its rare because the're no mil. bases/camps. But i've been in one of them somewhere else.

Haha. I live right by a military airbase. My best, however, was the F-18, F-15, F-117 and Herculese all flying over my house in one day. I'm used to jet engine sounds now.

across the street from my house is a small base and they have 1 tank 5 humvees and 2 of the blazers with the desiols

spend a few years in the military, and then living in a military city after you get out and you get sick of seeing them. boring stuff after awhile.

Its not a regular day if i dont see a military humvee... i didnt know that it was a big deal... a lot of guys get shipped out from here... we see apache heliocopters like everyday too
