autocross

do any of you guys do autocross? can you tell me a little bit about how the track is set up and how scoring works. i mean do they add so much time for every cone you knock down. i would like to know any other useful info you guys have.

i autoX. it's pretty damn fun. it's not a real track racing but it's exciting to watch other cars. the SCCA rules are 2 seconds for a cone and 10seconds for a gate. sometimes on a slalom there are NON optional ways to go through and if you miss that you're missing a whole bunch of gates which = huge times. hope that helps.
