broke my shifter

i accidently broke the button on my shifter. i tried glueing it back but it doesnt want tto work.
anybody know where i can pick one of them up.
dunno if im gonna need a replacement assembly or not

Try a junkyard...they usually have a lot of different products that are a ton cheaper than the dealer. I'm not sure how extensive your damage is, but I hear that it can be a big pain swapping out a shifter assembly...there are a few cables and electronic things in there to have to be careful with.

do you know if a grand prix or century assembly would work?, that would be an interesting swap if they did.

I'm not sure about the assembly, but I know that the shifter seems to be a pretty standard GM part. It looks just like the shifter on some Blazers (not the column shift) and the Monte Carlo's as well.

i ended up getting a new one from the dealer, cost me 25 bux so not much lost. id kinda like to get a century shift knob because it is straight down button.

i bought the whole plastic piece before you hit the leather.
