what are the differences between the integra rs, gs, ls, and se?
anything major, like engine wise?
are they all DOHC?

because i found a 96 integra with 38,000 miles on it. its a black 5 speed, he wants $8000 for it, but i dont know what model it is, i still have to call and ask him. so i was wondering if there were any differences in them?

The 1996 Integra coupe is available in four models - RS, LS, Special Edition and GS-R. New for 1996, green-tinted windows, six-spoke alloy wheels (SE and GS-R models only) and body-colored moldings on LS. Black Currant Pearl, Cypress Green Pearl and Matador Red Pearl are three new colors added. Safety features include dual air bags, side impact door beams, front and rear crumple zones and head restraints. Standards on all models include power mirrors, rear defroster, tilt steering, and power windows and locks. LS, SE and GS-R are equipped with air conditioning, power door locks, power moonroof and ABS brakes. CD changer, fog lights, mud guards and floor mats are available options.

a 96 for $8000 would definately be an rs.
mine was $6800 two years ago and it's a five speed rs, and it does have a/c. i dont quite know why people think an rs didnt come with a/c. but either way. get it. its an amazing car. save your pennies and dont go for a gsr. you can build this up to wreck any gsr.

the difference between the rs and the ls were the brakes.
the rs has smaller brakes.

Right on! VTEC is overrated, especially if you are going to mod it.
