Everyone on here seems to be very knowledgeable so I thought I'd throw this one out there for you all. I just got a 2005 silverado extended cab and I am wanting to mount a screen where the "power pocket" (right in the center where the two pockets and two power outlets are) is now. Has anyone done this and if so did you have to have a custom panel fabricated or is there some audio/video specialty store that sells this part already? I haven't had much luck finding anything. Thanks in advance.

I saw this on ebay:

I know it is not exactly what you are looking for but maybe it can give you some ideas on how to make something for a screen.

I use a mount like the one on ebay for my XM Roady in my Blazer. It works really well. If you have just a screen it would mount well as long as the DVD or Map unit were seperate.

Thanks for the help. I found a place here in Raleigh, NC that builds custom consoles for silverados/tahoes etc. for $100. It looks like it came straight from the factory. If anybody is interested the place is called Audio Express.
