Here is my 2000 civic pictures that i said i would post up...if the pictures dont work ill be sure to fix it....the pictures of the 750 il i havent had a chance to take yet...but the other day my brother in law told me that the damn car had about 105K miles on it!! is the trade still really worth it?.....i dont know, i heard that 105K miles to a BMW isnt really much...the trade is still tempting and is looking alot better considering i had to take out my headers due to a crack i found on the bottom...well ill get up the pics of the 750 il if everyone still wants...until then enjoy these ones. peace.

i agree, it looks nice, only too large spoiler, but hey that's personal flavour  isn't it

It looks like a fake 3 series BMW with a body kit.

I'd take the 750il all the way. I'm sorry, I'm not into that whole bodykit thingy, especially not a spoiler like that - but that's just me. Get the 750 before someone changes their mind.

The civic will get you chicks, the 750il will get you the chicks and you'll be gangsta on top of it :smokin:

I like the body kit, very tastefull. Not over the top or anything, and it matches the car color. I cant really tell from the pics, but is the color that Electric Blue that they put on the Si's? Also, how old is the Bimmer? Nice car.

sweet im glad you guys like my car....the color is actually from the 350Z nissan but candied....and the spoiler yea....i chose it to make things look proportional i guess you could say...cause without it the rear looked so empty...yea ill probably end up getting the 1997 750 il but the whole thing about it having 105K miles sucks...thanks for the replies pics of the 750 il will be up soon i hope.

I like the civic, man, surprisingly clean. I like the rims too. Honestly, I'd say keep the civic if you like modding cars. The BMW V12 doesnt have much in the form of affordable performance parts.

my dads BMW had 200,000 miles on it when he sold it. It ran great and everything..he just sold it because a 3 series bmw with 3 growing kids isn't big enough. Plus he didn't want his car to smell like hockey gear :grinno:

but ya... 105,000 is nothing compared to 200,000, i wouldn't be to worried about it.

FINALLY!!!! I GOT IT UP!!! haha enjoy!

I don't think that's what most men would tell another man. Plus, I can't enjoy...I don't roll that way  .

Car looks really good. Good job putting it together. I'm not actually a big fan of the whole body kit thing. Although I do own a Civic, it's not my style :smokin: . But, still, I think it looks badass overall. Nice...late...

It looks nice for a civic, Most kitted civics look like crap, that one looks like something that could be factory (No offence if you didn't want that)

that's not a bad ride, but take the bimmer. what vehicle'd that motor come out of? looks like a nice clean swap, but there's just nothing you can do to a civic anymore that's going to impress people.

Yeah, that sounds like a personal problem. :iceslolan

Looks good, looks clean. I like the way you have the wing incorporated into the trunk.

keep the civic and take the spoiler off...its a little odd on such a square body everything else on it looks fine though, i can't say i'm much for bimmers but then again i'm never around bimmers to acquire a taste for them

well i guess everyone has their moments when they slip in what they say and i guess my time was now and sadly it had to be in a public forum, oh well....after days of thinking i've decided to sell this car....with the problems i got with it now and then my DC headers cracking the other day...and now my power steering screwing up.....i've become tired of spending my turbo savings on fixing problems...so once all the problems are fixed, the car is gone...so if anyone is interested and is in the Va area let me know. late.

I was just gonna pop in and say that, that's probably one of the better looking modified civic's that i've seen. I say keep it anyway and keep modifying, "you're never done with a car" that's a principle that goes with owning any car, you'll always have something to do to it. I would keep it just because it would be a challenge of correcting everything, and making it run good. But good luck with your new ride anyway.

Looks Good
Coridinated interior
Maunal (there are kids around here that do all this, make it look "racey" but its an auto...)
Rims

Dislikes: Stock Motor except for wires and intake (looks like)
Stock cast headers
The car isnt engaged in 1st even though you have it parked on a slight hill
Im not a honda fan....lol

Clean.... What performance modifiacations DO you have?

"you're never done with a car" that's a principle that goes with owning any car, you'll always have something to do to it.

Yea that is true, and thats why I've worked on this car for the past 2 years with my older brother. But its not everday i get offered a chance to trade for a 1997 750 il BMW V12 msrp around 91K. I think that fixing up cars....especially imports are going to be around for a long time. So the way i see it...building my 2000 civic ex for the past two years was fun while it lasted and it doesnt hurt to start on a project car from scratch once again right? considering that there isnt much i can do to mod a V12 in the BMW so thatll be easier to save money. What mods do i have? pretty much what you see there...AEM Intake/NGK wires/AEM fuel rail/AEM regulator/and i use to have DC headers but they cracked recently...nothing internal...i was saving up for turbo, cams, pistons, stage 3 clutch,Edelbrock VictorX etc etc the list goes on...but since the cars acting up im going to fix it and sell it. thanks for the replies. late.

Before you do the trade find out if you can check under the car. Check the powersteering rack for problems. Also completely check out the interior, while BMW engines last forever, thats not so with the interior unless its kept up well.

Other than that, do the trade. Of course, I'm a little biased toward bimmers.
