Help setting timing on '94 V6 4.3 CPI S15

Ok, I popped my distributor back in and matched the marks I placed on the body and the rotor position.

Then I reinstalled the cap and wires in the correct firing order (1-6-5-4-3-2).

But engine cranks and no starty. So I think I did something wrong... DOH!

Can someone walk me through setting timing manually on this SUV? Thx.

I had my spark plug wires in the wrong order on the distributor cap. :icon16:

FYI the plugs are numbered front to back drivers side: #1-#3-#5, and passenger side front of engine to back: #2-#4-#6

#1 goes at the five o'clock position on the distributor cap (looking from the front of the engine). #6 goes to the left of #1. Continued on counter clockwise by #5, #4, #3, & #2.
