hood and radiator

figgured i should start a new thread seens how this has nothing to do with the tale lights... anywase the hood on my 89 dx will not close, the old radiator neede replaced so the last owner replaced it with a "proformence" one, i was woundern if the hood wont close because the radiator isnt slid down all the way or what? someone did try to rip it off and the radiator i seen in the bone yard sat much lower then this one is an inch or two atleast, also the passengerside hinge is broken, should i replace the hood or can i reweld where its broken and have it hold up? ill post pics as soon as i can, hopefully tomorrow

there are 2 little things that the radiator sits in on this cross bar and it may not be sitting in them. Believe me Ive replaced my radiator 3 times.

so if its not on the the tabs, can i just put some ass in to it and push it down from the top or is this one of the get on a creeper, squeeze under, realize i dont fit, lay on the ground and go under and pull it from the bottum while someone pushes from the top thing?

you can see the tabs from the top its really not hard to line up. Are you sure its hitting the hood? Your latch cable might be stuck and the clip in the middle of the circle on your rad support is stuck back causing it to not catch. And about the hood hinge, its serperate from the hood, so no you dont need a new hood, just weld a new one in.

yeah i feel like an ass, hybird1990crx hit the hood problem dead on... and the hood, it broke right at the hinge, so im going to drill a hole and put a half inch bolt into it, youll never see it and its the easy way out
