91 celica short throw shifter

Hey all, my friend has a 91 celica..ST I think. Well he wants me to find him a short throw shifter online. The only ones I found are B&M and afew others all in the 100-150 dollar range and that's to much for him to pay for it =/ So if you guys know any good sources for a cheaper price I'de appreciate the info. thanks :)

no can do for that little that i know of. i got a twm but its a bit pricey. the guy b4 me just cut off part of the shifter!! lol but that screwed up my tranny, not really a good idea

lol, yeah I kinda figured they didn't come much cheaper than that, but he is a cheap bastard so he's having me hunt.

i got mine for $35 from an online store going outta buisness...find one for a corolla 90-93 and theyll fit thats what mines outta

yeah but you kinda have to do a minor modification to the bottem shift linkage..you just bend the clip a little more, n thats it...mines from a 00 corolla btw
