My friend has 10,000 dollars for a car. His parents gave it to him because he was a good student and got a scholar ship. Anyways. He is looking for a good relibable car that is fast for under 10,000...I was looking at dodge stealth r/t TT's because i have seen some go for like 6,000. Is the 3000gt worth the more the are? He trusts me (Pfft I dunno why) and I told him these are fast cars. I did not lie right? I think he wanted something with less then 100,000 miles. This would be his second car, He is driving a POS mazda 626 now. If there is a better car for his purposes please dont be bais

your question was not in english, i'm guessing you're asking...nevermind I can't even guess what you're trying to ask....but anyone here will tell you to tell your friend to go for a TT Stealth or 3000GT, but can't forget about insurance...if he can only afford a 626, his bank will run out quick paying for a 3S.

A stealth would be great...not a 3000gt, that would be pushing it for 10 grand but mabye with 90 some thousand...etc... but why not a 98+ ls1 powered camaro or firebird...they blue book for about 8+ for 50,000 miles and mid 13 sec. car, also newer than stealth. But without the coolness of the stealth (awd...twin turbos) Just my :2cents:
P.S. Oh and also since this money is a one time thing the upkeep on the f-body would be alot less than stealth.
EDIT: And since your worried about speed, a 93+ stealths are mid 13 sec. car also.
...Non-Bias...

yeah if you want raw cheap power f-body is the way to go, gotta agree there....but if you want "coolness", as 5.7 put it, to go along with power then 3S is the way to go, but it'll put a bigger dent in your wallet.

F body's are pretty cool.
Not nearly as luxurious tho :P
From what I hear a 3/s Wouldn't be the best bet if he wants something super reliable :P

He is going to be using it as a daily driver. So im the F-bodys would be the best choice correct?

I wouldn't suggest a v8 as a daily driver... gas mileage can be a problem :(

How about a 240sx with a Silvia front end conversion and SR20DET swap? You could do it for under 10k and insurance would be like $100 a month. If he has a good record.
And RWD just rocks.

Is a tiwn turbo 300/320 horse car much better? lol...And I dont think he would be into swaping and such, He is going to collage, he just wants something fast...

I'd be willing to bet the F-body is better on gas than the VR4 or Stealth TT.
