Gas gauge weird,

ok I was going to the store and I ran out of gas and my gauge read just below a quarter(not even in the red), of a tank, and as soon as I put some gas in it moves to where it should but it runs out at just below quarter never did this b4…..just all the sudden, oh and I got my t-stat fixed thanks to BlazerLT (he knows his shit).. you da mang man

Sounds like you sending unit is defective or it is catching on something at that level.
