Problem: after riding on the highway for about thirty minutes, my "ABS and"TCS OFF" light went on and has not gone off since.... Its been about three days now....I do want to mention that about two months ago I had my right/front Hub asssembly replaced due to "an accident". Im hoping that it is simply a loose connection at my HUB but if anyone has any other ideas/tricks/tips/or just information please hit me up......

I had the same thing happen to me when a speed sensor wire got broke going into right rear hub. First thing to check would be all your connections into your hubs. Especially the newly replaced hub. Some aftermarket hubs dont have very good clips on them.

Someone else will have to back me up on this one, but I think anyone that has access to a diagnostic scan can pinpoint the spot where the prob is on ABS.

I had the same thing after replacing my hubs. There is a 40 pin connector under the hood around the master cylinder. I dont know off hand which pins are which but if I get around to it tonight I will look in my manual and let you know. You can ohm out each wheel sensor from that location. Should get less than 2k resistance. There are two connectors by the wheel. One connector at the hub and the other connector is just on the frame near where the control arm fastens on to the frame. Make sure both of these connectors are plugged in first.

thanx.... first thing I'll try is checking the connections to and from the Hub.... Um, as far as the "40 pin".... No clues on what your refering to.... Give me a heads up on it and I'll check it too...... Well, off to the garage.....

But would both the "ABS" and the "TCS OFF" light turn on? I just think thats wierd...! When i first start the car their off..... when the car go's into reverse after that point, still off..... its not until I drop it into drive and go maybe five feet when both turn on....... Its reading some sort of error for sure.... Just cant figure out where....!

Usually within the first few feet of moving foward is when the system runs a quick self diag. From I understandABS doesn't work in reverse so thatis why the light trips from the malfunction when you move foward. It most likely isn't receiving signal from one of the hubs as mentioned above.

Well i found the problem.... the wire harness that plugs directly into the wheel hub was cut through....at the wire on the hub side! Damn it, FUCK!

I know you have already found the problem but the TCS and ABS both use the wheel sensor for feed back.

By the way, did you take it back to the garage where they replaced the hub?

was it the same wheel you just had worked on? and was it front or back?

Ugh, no I havent taken it back to the garage but I deffinetly called them on it.... I wont take it there only because I know how it will be..... I wont see my car for like a week and there is no way for me to get other transportation.... Im just going to try to either sodder the wires back or replace it if I can first remove the wires from inside of the wire harness.... It broke at the wire harness, like RIGHT THERE!!!!! anyway it was the front right tire and it was the same that was worked on...... ugh. My advice is take your ass to your car and learn what you can about it and how to work on it.... I trust NO mechanic...... Maybe for advice but I like to be the one working on it....! Atleast I know when I fuck it up.... and thats that! Thanx for everybodies help on the issue....

They definitly owe you the part. Only takes 1 hour to change the hub. I have done three front hubs in the last 3 weeks. I am starting to get good at it :(
