HyperGroundSystem

I was at the shop today for a touch up on my tinting since it was still damp when I took the car home. Well I was talking to one of the guys about gas mileage. Because in August we're being restationed to New Jersey. And we're planning a 14 day road trip, from here down to Oregon for a couple days, then to Texas to stay a couple days with my family, then to New Orleans to see New Orleans, always wanted to go there. And then to New Jersey. Its gonna be like 4500 miles total.

So I was asking what mods would be best for gas mileage. Going to probably do the cold air intake. But the guy also suggested doing the HyperGroundSystem. He told me quite a bit about it and gave me the brochure paper thing to look at and stuff. I guess the company they sell is the original company, Osuno. And I guess other companies are now trying to make knock offs, but they are supposed to be the best. if I do it, I'm going to get either the gold or silver because I guess they are the better ones of the 6 types they make, has more copper or something.

What are you guys opinions on it and have any of you tried it or know anyone that has? He said people were pretty skeptical about it at first, but now its becoming more popular.

The companies website addy is http://www.sunautomobile.com

Sport compact only sells a similar kit, though for less $$. I bought it but haven't installed it yet (my battery is like, 3 years old and I'm waiting on an optima red top to do the wiring)

Yeah, yesterday was the first time I'd ever heard of it. I've done a lot of searching on the net and haven't heard anything bad about it. So I'm thinking about it doing it in the next couple of months.

The best system by far is made by RalliArt. That what all the teams racing SCCA Pro Rally are using. And is Subaru, and Mitsu are using it, it must be the best.

Grounding wires wont usually give you much if any hp. Scoobies will see the best gains because they dont have great grounding to begin with. It is mainly to aid with the parasitic loss of power from things such as the air conditioner. They will also make your engine idle and just feel all around smoother. If you have a problem of like lights dimming when you roll your windows up/down it will get rid of this also.

I looked at the price of those and thats redonculous! Just go, get about 12 feet of 4 gauge wire and some terminals and make a kit yourself for about 30-40 bucks.

If its what im thinking of then its not the actual RalliArt, its just a universal kit but they try to use the name to sell it. Click on the sellers item list and youll probably see that they have Mugen ground wires for Hondas too. They are probably some thin gauge wires some 8 year old put together in his garage.

just to clarify, wasn't looking at them for hp. Was looking at them for better gas mileage. Still haven't decided. And yes I know easy on the gas will give me better gas mileage too.
