your gauges should have come with a tool... pretty much it kinda lookes like a mini crowbar... one end has a slit in it and is at an angle to the rest of the tool.. u slide the tool under the gauge and the slit fits around the shaft that the needle is on and you do a prying motion 360 degrees around the needle. if you dont have the tool... it might be very difficult to get them off without breaking, but i imagine you could make it. if you dont have it, reply back ill take a picture of mine for you and you can make ur own.

Don't forget to lift the needle over the pin that it rests on and remeber where the needle stops. Then when you put them back on put them in the same spot. Most of the time the needle is straight down when it comes to a stop.

oh yea that is a good point lol. good luck gettin that lil pin out tho... i personally couldnt do it. the reason u need to get the pin out b4 the needle is because a certain point after the pin, the needle will come to rest naturally, and if u remove the pin you can see where that point is, so u can put the needle back on the same way it was before and your spedometer will work. as a precaution, i already knew my idle rpm and i went out and figured out rpms at certain mph... when i was done i had to recalibrate them lol took a while but its cool now. ill take the pic real quick and post it shortly

Man that tool would have made mine a lot easier, I did not have a tool and had to use just my fingers to pop the needles off.
