I have a 2000 V-6 firebird. I was wondering if anyone has put NOS on a v-6 and if they have what kind of setup they used and how much horesepower the shot added. Also if anyone knows how powerful of a shot of NOS the engine can take without having to install forged components that would be helpful too.

i hear its VERY hard on a stock engine, i would definately get into a lot of other parts before i even thought about juicing it up..
think of it this way.. a body builder isnt just gonna shoot steroids and try to bench 400 pounds.. you gotta work your way up slowly.. it may take a lot of work, but its the only way to do it.. you go cheatin your engine.. you're gonna kill it quick.. Just My Opinion..

:iceslolan Dude, save up your money and buy yourself a supercharger, trust me. :evillol: It'll boost out your engine's horsepower and torque along with it being much safer and durable than a bottle of NOS. :nono: Seriously, Nitrous Oxide shouldn't be used by American Automobiles, we got raw power than a drug overdose like NOS is to your engine. You risk danger to a lot of components in your engine and manifold. :sly:
