Greetings all!

Hi all, im new to this forum. I currently have a 1999 dodge dakota club cab, with the sad and puny 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine. however there is light at the end of the tunnel! thats right Im going TOMORROW to trade the dakota in for a later model american pickup with a V8! I plan to get about 3-4k trade-in value for the dodge. now for my first question on this forum...what truck should I get?

price range- under 3k
american v8 pickup
reliability and power are primary desired traits.
