Engine Comparison

OK, in about a months time, im gonna buy a 93-97 v6 camaro, ill keep that in there for a little while, but only until i find a decent v8 to put in it. only reason i just dont buy a v8 is because of insurance, but what shoutl i get? Im not gonna get into dropping in an ls1, ls2, or ls6 cuz i figure theyre less compatible with the 93-97 seeing as they came with LT1's and some LT4's, so my question is, what is the best motor to throw in there the LT1, LT4 or the rare LT5, why, and what tranny (manual) pair it with. as far as what im doing as far as mods, it'll probably be full intake & exhaust, suspension, and normal Oil/Filters/Random performance bolt ons, nothing too major, from what ive seen on here, the LT1 can be converted to an LT4, and i know the LT5 powered the ZR1 vette. I want the best performance.

Also, as a random question, does the LS2 blow the LS1 & LS6 out of the water? and have these found their way into any f-bodies yet (i know its kinda soon)
