DSC light won't turn off

Hey guys, im new here. My dad got a new 530i and the DSC light in the middle of the gauge cluster (triangular arrow w/exclamation point inside) is turned on and will not turn off. Do you know what caused this and how to turn it off. Pressing the DSC button does not do anything.
