It's been a while since I've completed a car, but I finished this one tonight, and I'm pretty happy with it.
Thanks everyone that followed the progress thread and commented.

The color is Orient Red Metallic by Cobra Colors. The interior was painted various browns and tans. The wheels are 19" Volk TE-37's painted titanium. I also dirty'd up the underside a bit.

Very nice results with the Scratch X.
Can you use Scratch X over the decals of cars?

Nicely done! Color looks good too, Matt.
A chrome rim on the fronts would make it look more complete.

Nicely done Matt! The color choice works very well with the style of that Porsche. Great job integrating all the parts together for that kit.

Thanks for the responses! :)

To answer some questions:

D_LaMz - Scratch X will remove decals, don't use it on decals, unless you want them ruined or removed.

Robrex - There is a small accent ring on the front wheels that I 'painted' with a silver Sharpie. It's not really noticeable in the pics, but in person it adds some silver to the front wheel to help match the back.

Bas Carwash & godfather23 - I do have a few pics of the rear, but not here at work. I'll update the pics tonight after I get home.

Gorgeous paint! The Volks looks at home but it looks odd with the chrome only in the back. What's the deal with this "Veilside" moniker? They turn beautiful cars into hideous beasts :grinyes:

Not to fond of the styling, but kudos on the build anyways.

Quite a few people have suggested adding a chrome ring on the front, and I sure appreciate the constuctive criticism. Something did look off between the front and rear wheels, I just didn't know exactly what. So tonight I disassembled the front end, and added chrome BMF to the front wheels. I think it looks a whole lot better. Thanks guys! :)

Let me be the first to say how much better she looks with the chrome up front. Great build in so many ways; I like it a lot.
As for Veilside, that bodykit is shocking!! Is that supposed to improve or hinder the drag coefficient? :disappoin

Oh thank God! I saw this thing and immediately thought, what's up with the front wheel? Is it a spare or something? But you've fixed it and completed the car. Great work, the color is well suited to the car despite its dubious styling (Veilside's folly, not yours) and the paint work is immaculate. Forgive me for not digging up the progress thread, but weren't the bumpers resin peices that required a lot of work? Great work fixing Fujimis mistakes! You can't even tell. Great work, Mr. Clean. Can't wait to see the next two Porsches to come out of your stable.

Great work as always Matt. Orient Red Metallic is an excellent shoice for this Oriental take on a European classic. It is amazing how adding a simple chrome ring to the front wheel makes the car look so much more complete.
