I'll cover the basics. It's actually quite more in-depth.
A Skyline GTSt has a turbo engine and rwd. The R33 has a 2.5L, I think.

A GT-R has a different turbo engine and is awd. The R33 has a 2.6L that is more powerful and stronger built than the GTSt's 2.5L. The R33 GT-R's awd system is electronic, too.

Anything's possible with enough money. It probably wouldn't be worth it, from the amount of money you'd spend. It would probably be cheaper just to get a GT-R in the first place.

Well Im sure you are serious...

But then reality smacks you back into practicality. The fact is, you arent getting a legal R33 (or R32 for that matter) for $10,000... Sorry.

Take a peak into the United States section, and read up on the stickies good and long, as then see if you have the cajones to go ahead with it.

And if you do... Its not my money.

Seeming as you are only 14, you have a few years to ponder this move, and I would seriously suggest getting something simpler for your first car... The R33 GTS-T has the RB25DET engine, which has about 250-260bhp (Brake Horse Power... Or at the crankshaft) and with all of that power... Your bound to end up in a ditch, or off the road somewhere.

Which is fixable... In a US Spec car. When you wreck a car that wasnt supposed to be in the States to begin with, its not cheap to fix.

So man I would just suggest getting yourself something like an RPS13 (1989-1994 240SX Hatchback) and after you've got a grasp on the car... Swap in an RB engine.

Just think of this move, before you take it. And ask yourself, is it worth losing $10,000+ over.

Uh? In reply to your first post, you already asked a question.

 Exactly why is this in the skyline forum?

I'm not so sure about this. An R33 for $10,000 USD? Heck, I'd get my parents to buy it for me first, then pay them back what I owe in the next year or two. I'm not even sure if you can get a R32 GTs Type M in the states for such a price. Anyways, I thought that that if you are in the US, you can't import a car that is younger than 25 years from the manufacturing date of the car. I'm up in Canada, so just recently R32's are avalible for importation because our importation laws are for 15 years. The R33's still have a few more years to go until I can import them legally. So unless you are going to pay MotoRex a whole ton of money....this will never happen. Stick to another alternative for the time being
