b20a6 vtec?

i have a 89 lude with a b20a6 non-vtec is there anyway i can do a vtec head swap? if so what head do i use?

I thought it was b20a1? Anyway, the b20a1 block is a lot weaker than that of a CRV. Besides that, the rod to stroke ratio is far off compared to a b20z block. It is the ratio of the length of the connecting rod to the length of the piston stroke, or the distance the piston travels from the top to the bottom of its stroke. As the ratio gets lower, the amount of stress on engine internals increases exponentially, killing long-term reliability. The higher the number is, the slower the piston is traveling, killing power output.
