lancer bodykit troubles

hey everyone

im chris, from australia and own a 1998 mitsu lancer 4door

i decided to put a droid II bodykit on the car....however, i have the early '98 model, which doesnt have the bonnet that runs straight across...instead, it dips down where the headlights are, but is straight across in the middle........

i went to fibremotive, in yennora, NSW to enquire about my kit, and they told me the rear bar and sideskirts would fit perfectly, but the front bar would need 2 be modified :shakehead:

then one day i spotted this lancer cruizing round and it made me wonder if a droid II front bar can actually be fitted to an early 98 lancer (notice dip in bonnet):

anyone out there that knows of a place other than fibremotive that make droid II kits, coz they said they have never made a d2 front bar for this shape....but obviously someone has :smile:
