How Does Ram Air/ Forced Air work

i have a 2004 cavalier and was also curious on if they have euro tails that will fit it with the reflector across the back of the trunk i want to do so much to my car and add stuff
like a wing and some performance stuff and neon and a sytem well just a few new things for my factory maybe unless i really get bored

If you ever have ridden into a car, and stuck your hand outside while at high speeds.. you feel that force?... That air flow is tried to be collected and funneld towards the intake to bring in cooler air, or cowl hoods have tubes comming off the inside of them and feed into the TB and its like fake boost...

ya i agree that would be like a cheap set up for ram air - unless its a setup for ram air - its not gonna do alot - cause there will be almost as much restriction as the plastic factory air box- the only thing it will do is get cooler air there but not as efficient as if it were a cold air intake air or aftermarket ram air....

yes cant described it better really -
ram air - it forces the air into the TB by like he said blasting it in there - so unlike the factory or a short air intake where the TB is sucking the air in ram air is pushing the air in an or having there before an when the throttle opens to pull it in ...

ram air is a myth on our cars. In order for ram air to give you any noticeable gains in power, you going to need to be going atleast 90+MPH. Even at that, it wont compress the air, just make a very un restrictive intake. You cant compress air with air, thats like trying to make compression with a fan.
