Vin Number Breakdown....?

I know VIN's describle all the aspects to the camaros. Does anyone have al ink or a full description of all the letters and numbers? :)

well, thats kinda only half true. The VIN will break down the year it was made, what chassis it is, what plant it was made at, what engine it has, that kinda stuff. If you want a breakdown of all its options and what equipment it came with, you will need to decode the SPID label, which is a sticker that has all the three digit build codes on it. Z28 for instance :) G80 for positraction, B4C for a police package etc. etc. your label is on the driver side door, in the door jam. I have a shop manual, so thats how i decode my spid labels. as far as online informaiton, try the tech section at www.thirdgen.org
