Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a remote starter alarm for a manual car.

compustar's pager alarm has a remote start that is manual tranny compatible. Also any Clifford G4 technology alarm works with a manual transmission as well. Im glad to see that youre going for a remote start thats made for a manual transmission. I have the clifford avantguard in my car and the way it works is: when you park the car, you put it in neutral, lift the e-brake and take your feet off the clutch and brake. Then you hit a button on your remote, remove your keys, and leave the car. The car stays running until you arm it. If your alarm goes off or if you shut your alarm off, you will have to reset the remote start for safety reasons.

That sounds wierd.
How about just a remote starter for a manual, what does that usually cost? I would imagine it would be more expensive than one for an auto.

I don't know how much the Clifford alarm is, but the Aladdin 2000 alarm is $200 and that has a remote start that is manual compatable. I guess it works the same way as the clifford.

You can hook up any remote start/ alarm to a manual. You will just have to add a safety lock for the manual trans
