Maintenence on Mustang

It looks decent and the price is reasonable so I was wondering what kind of maintenance would I have to perform upon buying it? I plan to put a nice V8 in later but right now insurance would destroy me for another 2-3 years. So how much would I have to invest on top of the price to get it running reliably? I tried searching but couldn't really find much. Thanks guys.
