my rev limit is 3500

my car only hits 3500 rpm and starts to bogg down it is like my rev limit is lower than on regular civics. it all started when i threw my timing belt. the engine runs fine there just isn't any power in 1st or 2nd. and like i said my rev limit is 3500th

double, tripple, and quadrooople check your timing.

i get tons of power available in first and second. it pulls quite hard, so as 91 said, check check check that timing then check it again.

i tried to chck the timming but the idiot that sold me the car painted all the pulleys and block as well i did the timming by turning the the crank to tdc useing the #1 cylinder thing
