engine removal

i have a 62 Buick lesabre with 401 i removed the bolts from the bell housing to the engine and metal cover on bottom of flywheel and engine mounts and can't seem to get engine free? do i have to remove some bolts around flywheel also? thanks mike

You have to remove the bolts that hold the torque converter to the flywheel.

Are the Exhaust bolts removed as well??

Aluminum loves to corrode and stick itself to ferrous metals, so after 43 years, the aluminum bell housing is firmly attached to the iron block.
There should be two alignment pins on the trans that line up with holes in the block. You should locate these and gently pry and tap the engine away from the trans.
Be sure to support the trans from beneath with a jack. Lift it a little, so the weight of the trans is not resting on the block.

everything is removed, i will check the torque converter bolts. thanks mike
