95 Regal - Security Light Staying On

The security light on the dashboard is staying on. I understand that there may be a loose wire in the ignition switch. Is this something that I can repair? Any idea which wire might be loose? The car wouldn't start once, but now seems to start OK. Will it get to a point where I will not be able to start the car? Any help is appreciated. Joe

This may be no help, but it also may be the best help you ever get on this. The security light has been on in my '95 Regal for 8 years solid! No associated problems with it in my case; I hope it's the same for you if you can't fix it.
