recoil springs???

wonderin if its possible to recoil performance springs??? they didnt drop much want it lower.

i'm speaking with my knowledge here and i'd say don't even try it.. i've heard of people taking out some of the coil and welding shit back together or something but i don't even know how well that worked.. what size rims do you have? and whats your suspension setup?
you could also sell the suspension you have now and get coilovers.. unfortunately, its easier said than done

cutting or heating the springs will cause the spring rates to do funky things and is generally bad.

yea iv done both in my day...cut and heated. Cutting is better in my opinion. Once i got my rims and put them on my 240 looked like a 4x4 truck. So i had to do a quick cut down. Looked way better but the spring would rotate in the housing making a very bad noise while turning. So then i got coilovers---way better.

And after a little while those springs will set and the car will drop some more, so don't worry, and your car will never look slammed with lowering springs.
