body style copied?

now the r30-r34 have the general platform style all the same - i mean there are MAJOR differences but you can see how they came from eachother right. Well that got me to thinking.

I have been looking at other cars in these time periods and it seems alot of the american car compainies (eh- hem FORD!) has nearly copied the basic body style of our beloved car series.

So i was curious
1. if others have noticed this?
2. and what company/car/year/modle do you think was so close could have been sued for it?

Wedges and hard edges you part of Automotive fashion in the 80s, the wedges stayed in the 90s, but the hard edges became rounded curves, and now in the 21cent the rounded curves have stayed, and the wedge has been replaced by spheres with hard edges as contrasting accents.

The skyline has never had a unique design, but they have been good examples of the what was fashionable at the time.

I dont really know what your talking about but, have you seen the new skylines? They are ugly. They look kinda like the G6. Bad move on nissan. Glad I got mine now before there gone and thats all thats left lol
