that they can give you thier contact address were you will be wiring the
remaining balance to,So that they can come for the pick up at your
location as soon possible.I will like! to know my balance to the shipper. I
am doing this to make the payment easier and faster for you. Furnish me

very fishy. its a scam. i would only accept cash in person or a money order for a deposit and cash for the rest.

lol when i was selling my car i got a "cashiers check" in the mail for 3000 (i was asking 800) i had never talked to the guy who sent it. so i called the bank and of coure it was a fake :mad:

i woudl tell him to pay the shipper, and just send you chasheirs check for the agreed amount in the mail. if he doesn't agree right away then it's a scam

that sounds not promising enough i would request a personnal chat first then go from there

Do not sell your car to ANYONE overseas who you don't know personally. My best friend just lost about $4,000.00 from a scam like this not 6 months ago. The "shipper" that the author of this scam refers to is likely non-existent. Cancel any checks or credit card payments that have been made to them right now!

The problem is that when they make off with whatever money you've given them, you often have little legal recourse since you're doing business beyond national borders. If you've given him any money so far and it was on credit card, call your bank, there may be something they can do about it, but don't count on it.

Do not respond to this guy until you've spoken to the authorities about this or have sought legal advice from an attorney or someone who specializes in this type of busniess. Chances are, if this is a real scam, they'll recognize it right away and report it to the proper authorities in the his home country.

haha let them send u the 8000 buck check... and make sure it cashes before u send the shipper a dime... haha thats hillarious... if it cashes... KEEP THE WHOLE 8 HAHA!! scam there asses! u will have a extra 8 Gs to spend on making ur car a GSX!

my cousin actually got a check from one of those fools. its a counterfitted check scam. the checks will have real routing numbers and all... its just counterfit and if you cash it your accountable for the 8k when they find it. see if you forward the other money then they cant track it down and your out a few grand!
