Eten en drinken zal er zijn , maar veel belangrijker , lekker veel glimmende honda's van eigen bodem maar zoals voorgaande jaren ook de blitse karren uit Nederland , Duitsland ,Engeland en als we ze opnieuw kunnen overhalen Zwitsers en Oostenrijkers . Hondarijders , noteer dus 18 augustus al maar in uw agenda !! Voor meer info kun je altijd iemand contacteren van Honda Club Belgium . Tot dan !! En breng goed weer mee !!

Sorry, I just copied the post posted by Honda Club Belgium:D . Basicly it says: there is an international Honda meeting at AVB-sports in Belgium (Verrebroek). It's the 3th meeting trown by HCB and this time they trow the meeting at AVB, one of the biggest stores for Honda parts in Belgium.

no problem! It would be great going there, but hey..a couple of kilometeres down there :D

I just convinced my girlfriend that this meeting was a matter of life or death and she just told me that she was able to switches her duty (she's a nurse) to another weekend, so yes i will be there. :) Maybe we could all meet before somewhere?

I'm thinking of going, but want to know who all goes there before saying it definately. I've read there are only 150 places which can be reserved? so maybe we have to to reserve within not too long a time? I though civic16i16v wants to go too, Am I right?

I went to Mechelen last year so I know how long the drive will be
But to meet with other Honda fanatics would be great
And about those 150 places they have,I hope they are still there
because the Honda Club Belgium would have a great amount of those places I guess

But if no more people are going beside the 4 that AccordCE8 wrote then I have to think about it

There will be more. I think StreetlegalHonda will be there too. And the guys from civictuning.cjb.net:D

So we can park our cars in the neighbourhood of AVB?

If SLH comes then there will be alot of Honda's comming from the Netherlands.
But how big a event is it, how was the turn up last year??

Last year I wasn't there and it's the first time Honda Club Belgium meets at AVB. The meeting last year at AVB was from STL.

But I'll see if I can get some more info on this event. I'll let you know when I know more about it.

OK, this is what I got

Het is inderdaad zo dat we dit jaar het 3de Honda Event organiseren bij AVB-Sports in Verrebroek. Onze twee vorige meetings waren in 1998 en 1999, beiden in Burcht (op parking van toenmalige GB). Die meetings waren telkens een groot succes met een grote opkomst, zowel vanuit België als vanuit onze omringende landen.

Aan iedereen die wilt komen op 18 augustus 2002, vragen we om zich in te schrijven. Dit omdat de plaats beperkt is tot 150 wagens. Je hoeft enkel te reserveren per wagen, de inkom zal toch gratis zijn.

Reserveren kan doen via onze website (http://drive.to/HondaClubBelgium).

Als je nog vragen hebt, mag je me die steeds stellen.

Het is inderdaad zo dat we op 18 augustus ons 3de Honda event organiseren.
In tegenstelling tot onze vorige twee events (van 98 en 99 in Burcht),
houden we het dit jaar een beetje bescheiden.

Op het terrein kunnen ongeveer 150 wagens staan, vandaar ook de limiet. In
de buurt van AVB-Sports is er voor de rest niet al te veel gelegenheid om je
wagen te parkeren.

Iedereen is toegelaten op het terrein, ook de gewone Honda fanaat. Op
voorwaarde dat je je van te voren inschrijft. De inkom zal toch gratis
zijn. Dus daar hoef je het niet voor te laten.

De inschrijvingen beginnen nu volop binnen te komen. Er zijn reeds 53
plaatsen ingenomen, maar verschillende leden van onze club (en ook
StreetLegalHonda) moeten zich nog inschrijven. We verwachten dus nog veel
inschrijvingen. Snel inschrijven is de boodschap.

OK for the people who dont read Dutch.
He told me that there are 53 places taken of the 150 available, but he expects that there are comming requests from StreetLegalHonda and
members of the HondaClubBelgium, so if we want to go there then we have to secure our places.
I also asked if there are any parking spots available in the neighbourhood of AVB so we could park there and walk to AVB
But that was not so.
So if everybody who really thinks about going let it know inhere so we can subscribe our places.

sup Goose....is it near Mechelen....??
Where exactly is Verrebroek? Do you have an exact address of where it's at?? i'm about 2 hours from Mechelen just to give you an idea...
and i can look up how to get there on mapquest.com if i have an address...

I just had a chat with one of the orginisers of the meet. They are planning on adding extra places at the meeting itself, and there's a big parking (of a nearby factory) where visitors can park their car. It's indeed a little past Antwerp.

A LARGE part of the StreetLegalHonda Club will gather at Hazeldonk at 9.30am

Yep, I saw your car and the printout, but couldn't find you. You had bad luck standing directly in the sun. My car was in the cool shadow of the threes:D

I must say that I did see a car like yours under the trees, but I thought that wasn't your

I just came back at 1600 hours, and I'm burned from the sun on my shoulders and arms cause of the suns :mad:

But I took alot of pics about 40 or so, they are going to be developed 2morrow and then I will scan them later this week.

Than you've probably seen my car also, it was standing on the same row, between two trees in front of the Honda flag :)

We were talking about the F1 in Spa a while back
and on the same day as Spa is the Japanse Car Festival in Lelystad

I'm really curious when the first pics will appear online. Where-ever you find pics, put a link in this topic.

(My car was a coupé with chrome rims, i haven't seen a lot of them around there :) )

I think I saw your car. With the Renault lip under the car, it was hard to miss.:)

I was standing under the trees between the grey civic VTi with the blue striping and the bordeaux civic with the grounddesigns kit. You probably overlooked my car because of the nice cars next to me:D

Hehe, yeh, that's my car, with the Renault Espace lip (and i was not the only one by far who had such a lip ;)

Yep, that's right :)

The spoiler was in my opinion a little over the top, but that's only my taste :) I found the spoiler on the green civic coupe on the other side ( not on the pic) a lot nicer.
