How Do I Adjust My Air-fuel Ratio??

I just installed a cool air intake and will be installed headers/exhaust soon and i know that my cars ECU still thinks it has the stock air filter, etc. and i know my mixture(A-F Ratio) will be off and i want to know how to adjust it so my mixture isn't too lean or too rich. Do I need to adjust the fuel pressure?? Is there any chips I can get that would make my car run faster and if so which chip would be the best for my civic. Thanks
-Glenn
P.S. Where is my cars ECU located??

disconnect your ground on your batter, or take the hazard fuse under the hood out for a lil bit.

pull the ecu fuse in the engine compartment and let it set for a minute before plugginf it back in. But if your 02 sensor is working properly, your air fuel ratio should be fine.

you can pull the hazard fuse for 20 seconds or so. its found under your hood. 15 amps i think?
OR
you can go and disconnect your whole battery from your car for like 10 minutes or so according to other sources.
then start up your car and let it sit at a steady idle for a few minutes.

yea your O2 sensor is what controls the A/F ratio after it heats up to operating temperature, you shouldn't need to reset your ECU.

boltons wouldnt really throw off the a/f mixture.

I've heard Doritos work wonders.

Yeah don't buy any of those stupid e-bay chips they will advance your timing and cause nothing but problems. I have a friend that can burn a real chip if you would like one. e-mail me at [email protected] with all your complete motor setup and add ons.

hit your positive terminal to your negative for like 3 seconds and that will reset your ecu.

You can buy an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and increase the pressure 3-5lbs. It will richen up the ratio a little but it may not make much difference in power. Not that you can feel anyway.

I knew posting that would get some kid thinking he knows all talking shit. Go try it. All it does is ground your power. And its quicker than just leaving the battery unhooked for 5 mins.

the way you said it, some dumbass is gonna go out to their car and put the positive cable on the negative terminal or something and its going to weld itself to it lol. Plus, its just not safe practice to ground out your positive cable, you could create a short and even possibly fry your computer. Why not just pull the hazard fuse for a few seconds then pop it back in? no turning of wrenches or anything, i dont see how it could get any easier.

well it might during cold start but the O2 sensor changes real time so ECU will compensate for the extra pressure as soon as the O2 sensor warms up to operating pressure.

not while connected......disconnect the terminals then touch them, I work at a battery shop and you would be supprised by the number of vehicles that require this technique.....resistors in the ECU hold a memory and this is the only way to reset them.
